To create these bags, we start by manufacturing a side-gusseted flat bag with side gussets and a simple bottom seam. The side gussets are then expanded, transforming the bottom section of the bag into a block bottom. This process ensures that the underside of the bag and the lower folded edge are preserved, extending from the bottom seam by the depth of the gusset. Movable gripping devices are used to hold the upper folded edge and/or upper side of the bag, allowing them to be moved in relation to the supporting structure to form the block bottom. During this transformation, the gripping devices move tangentially to the bag’s support, avoiding any lifting motion.

PP woven Block Bottom Bags are primarily manufactured using coated and printed woven fabric. On the other hand, BOPP laminated Block Bottom bags are made using BOPP laminated and printed woven fabric.
